The Whiskey Bottom Trade Center project was a masterplanned, multi-phased warehouse as well as a distribution and office center located in Laurel, Maryland. Smolen Emr + Associates Architects completed three buildings throughout the site, each containing warehouse space and supporting office space. The office spaces are located in the front of the building occupying approximately twenty five percent of the total square footage. They consist of offices, conference rooms, toilet rooms and reception areas. The remaining portion of the building is occupied by warehouse space containing twelve bays and four loading docks in each building. The overhead bay doors have a fourteen foot clearance height. The bays are twenty feet high with the depths varying from 108’ - 140’. This project included full site design and coordination for parking spaces, landscaping, and loading docks.
