An existing conditions survey and feasibility study were the first steps in a complete analysis for total modernization and expansion of this 30 year-old, 193,900 SF facility. By evaluating the areas, relationships and various cost factors, we were able to assist Montgomery County Public Schools in making the decision regarding to what extent to demolish the existing facility, the amount of area to be modernized, and the most appropriate size and location for the proposed additions. The completed facility is 300,800 square feet on two floors. The facility has 82 teaching stations for arts and humanities, math/science/technology and physical education, an instructional media center, an administrative suite, two gymnasiums, a health suite, staff rooms, food service facility and building service facilities. The science program includes 10 science labs and four science prep and equipment rooms.
