The Infants and Toddlers Program is an interagency program operated jointly by MCPS, the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services, and private agencies. It provides developmental intervention to children up to age 3 who have disabilities. It also provides assistance to parents, helping them to learn to work with their child. The proposed building is to be located on an area of the site which is adjacent to the existing school building, tennis courts, and parking areas. The proposed facility is a single-story building constructed from the combination of ten individual prefabricated modular units into a single, cohesive building. The building will offer 6,893 GSF of space as a facility for the Montgomery County Public Schools Infants and Toddlers Program. The proposed facility incorporates office, classroom, and support spaces under one roof to serve the program’s staff, children, and their parents in the most efficient manner possible.
