Chesapeake Church is a 70+ acre master planned religious facility designed by Smolen  Emr + Associates Architects and HH Architects of Dallas, Texas. Located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, Phase I of the Church totals 48,000 GSF and is budgeted for construction at $8,500,000. Chesapeake Church is master planned for approximately 150,000 SF, including surface improvement for parking and site development. The facility is designed around a “Main Street” concept utilizing an orientation feature that conducive to maintaining a sense of neighborhood and community. The main components of the design include a Main Atrium/ Lobby; a 2,500 fixed seat Auditorium and Sanctuary; a double Gymnasium/ Recreation Center; a Community Room with full service kitchen; a Youth Center; Child Day Care and Educational facilities; and ancillary support spaces.
